TeraStation Pro v2 and Live are not ARM11 Based
They are based on the higher end ARM9 chip, and are binary compatible with the ARM9 Linkstations.
Logon issues
If I leave my system for any length of time, it takes my PC up to 30 seconds to "find" my Terastation (occasionally, I cannot connect at all and have to restart the Tera). I have a wireless network, but that's largely immaterial as it happens on my LAN as well as WLAN. I'm using a Linksys SRX Router to attach my Sony Vaio Desktop to the Tera. Anyone know how I can keep the connection "alive"? Once it's connected it works well. This happens on laptops connecting wirelessly as well.
Can somebody tell if it is possible to enable enable SNMP on the terra station server.
Additional USB Drives Read Only
I can only mount USB drives read-only, anybody know how to make them RW?
Yes, take the data off the USB drive, then re-format from within TS web interface as XFS.
Mac OS Panther
Has anyone had a problem with the default firmware of the terastation not working correctly with anything earlier than Tiger? All our earier Macs are opening items as read only and can't save correctly. Any ideas?
